Not only is FashionWorks in the works, but also our El Camino Estates project which received support from City Hall and a major boost from stimulus funds released by Governor David Paterson.
The Funding
El Camino Estates received $3.3 million to provide 25 units of affordable housing in the Northeast (in and around Conkey Avenue) for very low-income individuals with developmental disabilities. The City of Rochester also contributed $435,000 in HOME federal funding and is providing a PILOT (payment in lieu of tax) agreement for the property.
