As Rochester contemplates the promises of 2010, some things are right on course while others have suffered dramatic setbacks. For example, the confirmation of distinguished judge Sonia Sotomayor who became the first Latina to sit on the Supreme Court. Her arrival at the highest levels of jurisprudence (and democracy) will bear fruit in all families but especially for the Latino community. Even this bright spot can not minimize the storm that rocked the stock market and, in particular, the housing market.
Wise guidance brought IADC through two decades of challenge and celebration with a solid track record for procuring work, completing projects on time and within budget and, most importantly, strengthening Latino families through the revitalization of community. We are grateful to our partners, vendors, the terrific leadership at Ibero, and to the families who have become both homeowners and friends.
